ABOUT
I support individuals in the process of cultivating wellness and balance. Informed by modern neuroscience, which illuminates the mind-body connection, I support clients in both mental therapy and body-based techniques. Because wellness is holistic, I believe it is important to work with the many components that comprise an individual, such as physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual (if desired). I myself have had transformative experiences in therapeutic settings and was inspired to weave my experience and education into the healing, empowerment, and fulfillment of others. I approach therapy collaboratively, co-creating therapy goals, tools, and techniques. I believe each individual has wonderful gifts and unique challenges and the therapeutic process should be informed and shaped in accordance. With my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, and 5 years of professional social work practice, I acknowledge the impact our social systems have on individual wellness, and apply a social justice lens to my practice.
I have served parents, teens, and families for over 5 years as a social worker. Working in Trauma Informed Care for almost a year, addiction recovery for over a year, and with multicultural communities for 3 years, I have supported folks in diverse challenges, life stages, and with many faiths and cultures. I am inspired by the growth and resolution in the therapuetic journey.
